Ka’Leah and Kevin met on February 8, 2020. They were both living in the same ​apartment complex for over 3 years and had never run into each other until ​that night.

Ka’Leah noticed loud music coming from a neighbors apartment and decided it ​was finally time to met these noisy neighbors. She had been disturbed by the ​rowdiness previously but today was the day that she actually figured out who ​was behind the chaos.

As she got closer to the door she noticed a guy throwing 3 females out. In her ​sweatpants, Saints hat, and slippers she approached the door and began to ​knock. Suddenly the same guy flung the door open with his shirt half buttoned. ​She asked “Do you live here?” and he responded “Do you work here?”. She ​exclaimed “No, but you and your friends are very loud and I figured I would ​come down here and fix me a cocktail since I am going to be disturbed for the ​rest of the night”. Kevin said “Well, come on in and let me fix you a drink”. As ​Kevin was fixing her a drink he threw his phone on the counter in front of her ​and said “Put your number in there”. Kaleah explained that she would give him ​her instagram and he could contact

Now, they are ready for the next chapter of their relationship to begin.

What to Wear

Black tie is highly suggested. Ladies must wear ​uninterrupted black floor length gowns. ​Gentlemen must wear black tuxedos or black suits.

Hotel room blocks are at the UNC ​Charlotte Marriott located at 9041 Robert ​D Synder Road Charlotte, NC 28262

Charter bus shuttle will pick up ​at the UNC Charlotte Marriott at ​4:30pm sharp

Parking is available at the venue

WARNING: Please DO NOT take an Uber or Lyft. The venue is in a rural area and while it will be easy to get a ride there, it will be very difficult to schedule a ride back to your destination.
